Situated in the charming seaside town of Beaumaris, Coach at The Bull is a quintessential British restaurant that masterfully blends traditional comfort food with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Nestled on Castle Street, this eatery offers an authentic taste of classic British cuisine, served with a modern twist that respects the heritage of the beautiful old building it inhabits.
The menu at Coach at The Bull is a celebration of hearty, well-loved dishes that evoke a sense of nostalgia and satisfaction. Standout offerings include the Traditional Fish & Chips, where crisp, golden batter envelops tender, flaky fish — perfectly paired with chunky chips and minted peas for a truly comforting plate. For lovers of richer fare, the Lamb Hot Pot Pie presents succulent lamb slow-cooked to tender perfection beneath a flaky crust, while the Cumberland Sausage & Mash delivers classic British flavors with a rustic, homey appeal. Burgers also feature prominently, with options like the Classic Cheese & Bacon Burger and the Lamb & Mint Burger that intrigue with bold yet balanced flavors. Vegetarians and vegans aren’t left out either, with a thoughtfully crafted Vegan Cheese Burger ensuring everyone can enjoy a satisfying meal.
Smaller plates and nibbles provide delightful starters or light bites, elevating the dining experience with dishes such as spicy chicken wings tossed in a flavorful blend of spices, or the chargrilled salmon served alongside a fresh, zesty marinated tomato salad. The inclusion of unique touches like English Pea Hummus and pickled peas alongside sourdough bread in the nibbles selection showcases the kitchen’s dedication to variety and quality.

Delicious roasts, came for Sunday lunch! We didn't book a table but was seated just after 2.30pm on a Sunday. Absolutely huge Yorkshire puddings and meat that's served to your preference. Roasts came with sides (broccoli and a carrot mash), we ordered a beef and lamb shank. Portion size was great, potatoes were a little hard. Venue was decorated well and great service.

This was our first visit to the Bull, Beaumaris was actually really quiet and there was no problem finding a table. Really lovely food at reasonable prices. The restaurant is spacious, clean, modern decor but keeping the character of the old building. The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was very quick (probably because it was so quiet). Highly recommend.

Went here in a party of four for early evening meal two of us had burgers and fries and two had cod loin with chips sauces and peas, would not of been my choice of restaurant but went with the majority, food was good fish people said it was lovely,£21it should have been, told other members of party would try to be positive, but also need to be honest to your own opinion, as with most places doing fish and chips fashionable to have a miniscule pot of mushy peas, when they are about 25 pence a small tin,and burgers 1 £18 well £14 is the going rate and that is over priced,on the whole a good meal,if you like paying through your nose went back and I had marinated fish and rustic bread I have had marinated fish on Spain can't recall proper name, bread was all the same with no oils have had assorted breads elsewhere with oil and butter, the white bear weston near crewe very good
